Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- â…“ cup fish sauce (preferably gluten-free)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Marinate the Wings: In a large bowl, combine the fish sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, lime juice, black pepper, and chili flakes. Whisk until well combined. Add the chicken wings, ensuring each is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat Your Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even cooking.
- Arrange the Wings: Remove the wings from the fridge, letting excess marinade drip off. Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook the Wings: Air fry for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
- Check for Doneness: Ensure wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and increase to 400°F (200°C) in the last few minutes if desired for extra crispiness.
- Serve and Enjoy: Remove the wings, let them rest, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce or lime juice.
