  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, combine the applesauce, egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until combined.
  4. Lightly flour your working surface and roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out donut shapes using a donut cutter.
