Ingredients
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup sweetened cream cheese or ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
- 1 cup chopped seasonal fruits (apples, pears, or peaches)
- Whipped cream, caramel sauce, or chocolate drizzle for serving
- Additional ground cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Brush one side of each tortilla with melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Fold each tortilla in half to form taco shapes and place them in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
- Air fry the tortillas for about 4-5 minutes or until golden and crisp.
- Remove them carefully and let them cool on a wire rack.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened cream cheese or ricotta, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and nutmeg. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the chopped seasonal fruits.
- Fill each crispy taco shell with the creamy fruit filling.
- Top with whipped cream, caramel, or chocolate and sprinkle with extra cinnamon.
Notes
Feel free to use corn or gluten-free tortillas. You can also substitute the fruits based on the season.
