Crispy and juicy Air Fryer Chicken Wings seasoned to perfection, ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings, jointed and patted dry
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (aluminum-free)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional finishing sauce: 2 tablespoons honey + 1 tablespoon soy sauce + 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes. Pat wings thoroughly dry to encourage crispiness.
- Toss wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive oil in a large bowl until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings in a single layer in the basket, leaving a little space between pieces. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes. Flip wings and cook another 8–10 minutes until skin is deeply golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- If using the finishing sauce, warm honey, soy sauce, and vinegar in a small pan until combined. Toss wings in sauce immediately after air frying for a glossy finish.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, swap any seasoning mixes for certified gluten-free labels and use a gluten-free soy sauce in the finishing sauce.
