Description

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these air fryer chicken wings are a cozy fall favorite.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings (fresh or thawed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • Your favorite wing sauce or dipping sauce (Buffalo, BBQ, Ranch, etc.)


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Toss the chicken wings in the spice mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Set your air fryer to preheat at 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry at 400°F for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through the cooking time.
  7. If using sauce, transfer the cooked wings to a large bowl and toss them with your preferred dipping sauce.
  8. Plate your wings with celery sticks and your favorite dip on the side.
