Description

Delicious and crispy air fryer chicken thighs, perfectly seasoned for a cozy fall dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or halal-friendly vegetable oil)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. Combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, coating them thoroughly in the marinade.
  4. Allow the chicken to sit for at least 15 minutes (or refrigerate for up to 2 hours).
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place the marinated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up.
  7. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. Remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve with lemon wedges.
