Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast (cubed)
- 1 bell pepper (any color, cut into chunks)
- 1 red onion (cut into chunks)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes while you prep the skewers.
- Prepare the Marinade: In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Whisk until well blended.
- Cube the Chicken: Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and add them to the marinade. Make sure the chicken is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15-20 minutes, or longer if you have time.
- Assemble the Skewers: Alternate threading the marinated chicken pieces with chunks of bell pepper and red onion onto the skewers, creating colorful patterns.
- Air Fry the Skewers: Arrange the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they aren’t overcrowded. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Serve & Enjoy: Once cooked, carefully remove the skewers from the air fryer. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or garnish with fresh herbs.
