Description

Juicy air fryer chicken breasts seasoned with a blend of spices for a cozy autumn dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 to 1 1/4 lb total)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (or sweet paprika)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary, crushed
  • Optional for serving: lemon wedges, chopped parsley, or a drizzle of honey mustard


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick and promote browning.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and thyme. Rub the mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket with a little space between them.
  5. Cook at 380°F for 10 minutes, then flip the breasts and cook another 6–8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

To enhance crispness, spritz with oil before the final 2 minutes.
