Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (whole wheat, sourdough, or your preferred choice)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk (any non-dairy milk works great too!)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or sweetener of your choice)
- A pinch of salt
- Optional toppings: fresh fruit, maple syrup, or a sprinkle of powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, and salt in a bowl.
- Soak each slice of bread in the egg mixture for about 10-15 seconds on each side.
- Arrange the soaked slices in a lightly greased air fryer basket, cooking in batches if necessary.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway for even browning.
- Serve with fresh fruit, powdered sugar, or maple syrup.
