Description

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread (whole wheat, sourdough, or your preferred choice)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (any non-dairy milk works great too!)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or sweetener of your choice)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: fresh fruit, maple syrup, or a sprinkle of powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Soak each slice of bread in the egg mixture for about 10-15 seconds on each side.
  4. Arrange the soaked slices in a lightly greased air fryer basket, cooking in batches if necessary.
