- 8 chicken drumsticks (about 2 pounds), patted dry
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne (optional)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes. While it warms, dry the drumsticks with paper towels.

- Brush each drumstick with barbecue sauce and air fry for a final 2–3 minutes to set the glaze.
- Let the drumsticks rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider a light spray of oil over the drumsticks before cooking.
