Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cup flour (gluten-free if desired)
- A pinch of salt
- Optional: cinnamon and nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth with a few lumps.
- Add the creamy peanut butter and mix well.
- Incorporate the honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract.
- Combine the oats, flour, and salt in a separate bowl. Optionally, add cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the banana-peanut butter mixture, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Prepare the air fryer basket with parchment paper and pour in the mixture.
- Air Fry for 15-18 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for the best flavor, and don’t overcrowd the air fryer for even cooking.
