Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips (or halal chocolate chips)
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional garnish: chopped nuts or a dusting of powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. Prepare the bananas: Peel the ripe bananas and mash them in a mixing bowl until they reach a smooth consistency.
  2. Mix the ingredients: In the same bowl, add the creamy peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until all the ingredients are fully combined.
  3. Add chocolate chips: Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  4. Prepare the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray if needed.
  5. Form the mixture: Portion the batter into small mounds and place them in the air fryer basket, ensuring space between each mound.
  6. Air fry the dessert: Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the tops are golden and the dessert is cooked through.
  7. Let it cool: Carefully remove the dessert and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
