Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips (or halal chocolate chips)
- ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Optional garnish: chopped nuts or a dusting of powdered sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the bananas: Peel the ripe bananas and mash them in a mixing bowl until they reach a smooth consistency.
- Mix the ingredients: In the same bowl, add the creamy peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until all the ingredients are fully combined.
- Add chocolate chips: Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Prepare the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray if needed.
- Form the mixture: Portion the batter into small mounds and place them in the air fryer basket, ensuring space between each mound.
- Air fry the dessert: Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the tops are golden and the dessert is cooked through.
- Let it cool: Carefully remove the dessert and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
- Serve & enjoy: Plate your dessert and top with optional garnishes like chopped nuts or powdered sugar. Serve warm.
