Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (for a vegan option)
  • A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • A pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Prepare the bananas by peeling and slicing them thinly, about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Add flavor by combining the banana slices with lemon juice, honey (or maple syrup), cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each slice.
  5. Air fry the banana slices for about 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispness.
  6. Cool down the chips on a wire rack after they turn golden brown and crispy.
