- 2 medium to large sweet potatoes
- Olive oil (or melted coconut oil)
- Sea salt
- Optional toppings: Cinnamon, Maple syrup or honey, Greek yogurt or dairy-free alternative, Chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
- Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry.
- Poke several holes in each sweet potato to allow steam to escape during cooking.
- Rub a little olive oil over each sweet potato, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle sea salt over the potatoes for enhanced flavor.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- Place the sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
- Cook for about 35-40 minutes, checking for doneness after 20 minutes.
- Carefully remove the sweet potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool.
- Add your favorite toppings before serving!
Notes
Choose firm sweet potatoes without blemishes for best results. Do not skip poking holes to prevent them from exploding.
