Description

Indulge in the warm, fluffy embrace of an Air Fryer Baked Potato, perfect for fall. Crispy skin and customizable toppings make it a hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits (or halal alternatives), garlic, etc.

Instructions

  1. Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
  2. Prick the potatoes several times all over with a fork to allow steam to escape.
  3. Rub the potatoes with olive oil (or melted butter) to help crisp the skin.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over the potatoes for flavor.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket without crowding.
  7. Cook the potatoes for 35 to 40 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  8. Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and allow them to cool for a few minutes before slicing them open.
  9. Fluff the insides with a fork and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

For best results, choose medium to large russet potatoes and avoid overcrowding in the air fryer.
