Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized russet potatoes (about 6-8 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, chives, bacon bits, or your favorite seasoning
Instructions
- Scrub the russet potatoes under cold running water to remove any dirt.
- Dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
- Poke several holes in each potato with a fork.
- Rub each potato with olive oil, ensuring even coverage.
- Sprinkle sea salt all over the potatoes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
- Cook the potatoes for approximately 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Carefully remove the baked potatoes from the air fryer and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
- Slice open each baked potato and fluff the insides with a fork.
- Add your favorite toppings, mix, and dig in!
Notes
For extra crispy skin, finish with a few minutes under the broiler after air frying.
