Description

A cozy and comforting air fryer baked potato, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, perfect for fall.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized russet potatoes (about 6-8 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, chives, bacon bits, or your favorite seasoning


Instructions

  1. Scrub the russet potatoes under cold running water to remove any dirt.
  2. Dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
  3. Poke several holes in each potato with a fork.
  4. Rub each potato with olive oil, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Sprinkle sea salt all over the potatoes.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  7. Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
  8. Cook the potatoes for approximately 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through.
  9. Carefully remove the baked potatoes from the air fryer and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
  10. Slice open each baked potato and fluff the insides with a fork.
  11. Add your favorite toppings, mix, and dig in!

Notes

For extra crispy skin, finish with a few minutes under the broiler after air frying.
