Description

Delightful and cozy Air-Fryer Apple Fritters that are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, perfect for fall.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup peeled, cored, and diced apples
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples: Peel, core, and dice your apples into small pieces.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt; whisk gently.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil.
  4. Mix everything together: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold in the diced apples.
  5. Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  6. Shape the fritters: Drop about 2 tablespoons of batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space between each fritter.
  7. Air fry the fritters: Cook for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  8. Serve and enjoy: Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, choose fresh, firm apples and avoid overmixing the batter.
