Description

Indulge in these easy-to-prepare, earthy air-fried mushrooms, perfect for cozy gatherings or as a delicious snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of fresh mushrooms (button, cremini, or your favorite variety)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Optional: Fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mushrooms: Start by cleaning your fresh mushrooms. Use a damp cloth or paper towel to wipe them down gently.
  2. Slice the mushrooms: Cut the mushrooms into even slices (about a 1/4 inch thick).
  3. Season them: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced mushrooms with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Air fry: Place the seasoned mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry for about 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Check for doneness: After 10 minutes, check the mushrooms. They should be golden brown and tender.
  7. Serve: Remove the mushrooms from the air fryer, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, use fresh, firm mushrooms and avoid overcrowding the air fryer.
