Description
These 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies are a cozy, chewy classic made with just peanut butter, sugar, and an egg. No mixer, no chill time, just a quick and nostalgic bake perfect for fall afternoons and spontaneous cookie cravings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, sugar, and egg until fully combined and smooth.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and place on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Flatten each ball using a fork in a criss-cross pattern.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, until edges are lightly golden. Do not overbake.
- Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Use room temp ingredients for smoother mixing. For less sweetness, reduce sugar to ¾ cup. Try crunchy peanut butter for texture, or press a chocolate kiss into the center after baking for a fun twist.
